Origin cant find my preloaded games

I just built a pc, and due to internet restrictions, i had to use a external hard drive to move my games. I have downloaded origin and moved both Origin downloads and the games to my A: drive ( a 3 tb hard drive) and origin cant even find my games.It is very frustrating.

When you go to install the game, do you point it to the folder where you already have the game installed? Origin should do a filecheck. If it works like every other platform (Steam, Uplay etc).

I do, but origin refuses to find the games (ex. battlefield 1, titanfall 2, metal of honor...)
