Just got a new cpu/mobo (CPU: i5 7600k/MOBO: Gigabyte GA-Z270M-D3H) but neglected to get DDR4 RAM :( So now I'm looking to see what options I have with my setup. I have the opportunity to get "Dominator® Platinum Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3000MHz " daul channel RAM locally but I'm afraid it wont work since its advertised 3000MHz (But SPD Speed is 2133?) It's a great deal if I can use it so I'm hoping you guys can give me some insight! Thanks!

Solution
"Support for DDR4 3866(O.C.) / 3800(O.C.) / 3733(O.C.) / 3666(O.C.) / 3600(O.C.) / 3466(O.C.) / 3400(O.C.) / 3333(O.C.) / 3300(O.C.) / 3200(O.C.) / 3000(O.C.) / 2800(O.C.) / 2666(O.C.) / 2400 / 2133 MHz memory modules"

That motherboard will be happy with that RAM.
Just setting XMP on in the BIOS should do it
