Hello,

I have problem with my new PC.
My PC:
mobo: Asus Maximus VIII hero
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000Mhz
CPU: Intel core i5 6600k

I can boot it with both ram sticks in B slots but not in dual channel (A2, B2 or A1, B1). With 3000Mhz I get error 49 and with 2133Mhz i get error 55. If I press MemOK button I get AC code with DRAM led flashing. It is set to XMP mode.
I can't boot it with one stick in A slots. I've already tried higher DRAM voltage to 1.4v and I've updated BIOS to the newest version.

Is there fix for that? And what is the speed difference between having 2 sticks in one channel and 2 sticks in dual channel.
Thank you very much for helping me.

I think it's not the CPU issue, because I had the same issue with Asus Z170 Pro gaming motherboard.

Ok, I'll check it, but do you have some other solution that I can do from BIOS or windows without removing the CPU? Thank you

But it's working perfectly with 2 sticks in one channel

How large is the speed difference between having two sticks in single channel and in dual channel in your view?

After a long time I decided to fix it. The problem was in the CPU cooler mounting stick (where you put the screws in). After full reassembly of my PC, it finally works. But since that time my pc crashes after about 10 minutes of playing games on it. I also tried to mine cryptocurrency and it is crashing too with green stripes on the screen. Q-Code on the MB is same like normal (AO). Both gaming and mining were working before the reassembly. Please help.
