Maybe not for me... Heres my specs and issue (I'm assuming this is a graphics card issue)
Gigabyte z270 ultra gaming MOBO
i7 7700k CPU
MSI GTX 1080 TI Gaming X GPU
Corsair Vengeance LED 2x8gb 2133 RAM
Samsung 960 evo m2 SSD
Corsair H80i v2 COOLER/FAN
AeroCool intergrator MOD XT 750w PSU
I've been buying these parts for a few months now and last weekend finally got it all completed.
I installed windows 10 and everything was looking fine , put in the nvidia latest drivers for w10 64.
Left it over night installing a game ESO.
When i got up i loaded the game and 5 minutes into the game noticed that there was screen flickering , that then proceeded to crash and log me out of windows.
When relogging back in there was constant flickering on screen then an error message in the bottom left stating drivers failed to start.
Loaded up device manager and there was a yellow triangle and error code 43.
Tried all that weekend to get some older drivers in but when trying to install them the screen would flash constantly log me out and all open windows including the driver installation wasnt there.
Abandoned it because i didnt want to spend all sunday trying to fix it.
So on waking Yesterday really early 3am I decide to try it again.
Loads up ok , gets in the gaming ready drivers from geforce experience , loads up game , same again GRRR.
I contacts microsoft support thinking it must be a compatable windows 10 problem,
Three operators had remote access trying to sort out the problem to no avail 5am - 9am.
I kept on losing an operator every time i had to fully shut down the pc under their instruction that i wouldn't lose them (New i would after the 1st one but they wouldn't listen)
I was finally told to re install a fresh copy of windows 10, which i did and couldn't get by the end phase bit (select keyboard language lay out) without it flickering and just constantly saying please wait.....
I THINK well is this windows 10 because i previously tried out the graphics card in my brothers system before i had all the parts and it worked alright.
So I install windows 8.1 goes in one problem gets to the end phase where i have to click next flickers gets stuck , i reboot and quickly click next to finish installing and windows 8.1 is working.
BUT it still wont let me install the latest drivers , same issue flickers and logs me out without completing.
I'm new to testing and managed to do a furmark test using 1920x1080 ? and ran smoothly , i'm on laptop at moment so cant recall much about it tbh but when adding msaa 2x 4x 8x to the test - same issue flickering screen , logs me out...
This is the second weekend iv'e wasted on it and at my tether with the build.
If someone can help me please it would be much appreciated.
