Help Connecting IDE CD Drive to SATA Motherboard

I need help on how to connect this Harddrive

Do you already own that DVD drive?
If not...do not buy it. Just get a regular SATA DVD drive.

Plus which...that is only a reader. You can't write to a DVD with it.

The reason I'm trying to use this drive is because it's one of the few that's compatible with a program I'm trying to use that can read Gamecube games.

These would do the job cheaply, but the adapter will stick out the back of the DVD. May have to watch clearances around the PSU and such.
