This just started happening. When I power on or restart my PC it will sit at the Asus screen. When I hit the reset button, the computer restarts as normal and everything works except for my mouse will not work for a few seconds and then will come on and windows says the last usb device plugged in was not recognized or installed correctly. Any Ideas?

Basically your mouse has some driver or hardware issue and it's causing the BIOS screen to hang because it waits for the devices to properly initialize or something. Try starting with the mouse unplugged, reply weather the problem is still there or not.

If it's solved, just get a new mouse and you're good.
