Hello everyone.
Specs:
i7 4790K
Asus ROG VII Gene (mATX)
KFA2 EXOC GTX 1070 installed in the top slot (PCIe 3.0 x16)
As stated in the title, my GPU is running under the PCIe revision 2.0 x16 while being loaded with the render test by GPU-Z, while theoretically it should run at 3.0 x16.
According to the Asus utility, my BIOS is updated and the nVidia drivers are too.
I'm using another card (Intel AC7260) in my system, but it's in the mPCIe slot, which shares lanes with the other slots and it's fed by the chipset, so it has nothing to deal with my problem.
According to some tests, on a card like this, the difference in bandwidth between 2.0 and 3.0 doesn't make any difference, but it's bugging me because if I pay for some feature I want it to be available to me.
All that said, I thank in advance everyone which will respond to this thread, and I apologize for my writing, because it's been a long time since last time I used my English.
