I'm currently have performance issues with my gpus and would really appreciate some help on this issue. I got an i7 6700k 2 gtx1080s sli.
The problem is the 1080s are capping out at 30% and the CPU at 50% which is only getting me roughly 20-30fps on 3440x1440. Weird thing is when I change the settings of games to low I still only get about 30fps and the usage also lowers. The only thing that changes is when I disable sli and run off one gpu the usage goes to 60% but fps is always around 30fps. I've been messing with settings in nvidia control panel like turning gsync on/off vsync on/off and changing power to performance and no change in fps. I've uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled them and still nothing.
I really just don't get it the CPU and gpu seem capped like once they hit 30fps they like "alright good job everyone this is good right here". I ran a couple benchmark tests and they seem way below the norm. Anyone got any ideas?
