Ryzen 3 vs Intel I3/5?

I was wondering what will AMD's Ryzen 3 lineup compete against Intels I3 or I5 (skylake) lineup? I really want the best Ryzen 3 CPU but I was wondering if it would directly compete with a 6500 or 6600k or should I get a 1400X/1500X?
What do you guys think?

Overclocked R3 to 3.9-4.0 ghz will probably be able to compete with low end i5 7400/7500. It will be the same CPU as R5/R7 with cores/threats disabled and less cache basically. If we can buy R3 for 109$, it will be the best value chip next to ultra budget Pentium g4560.
