Every time I try to use the XMP profile on my trident z ram, the computer won't post. The XMP file runs at 2933 Mhz at 1.35V. I reset the CMOS and run the ram at 2666 Mhz at 1.35V, still no post. So I gave up and don't know what to do. With the ryzen 5 1600 I tried to overclock even just to 3.6 Ghz running at stock voltage (I forget, not at home right now) yet the computer still won't post. The voltage in the BIOS for my cpu isn't even adjustable!

PC Specs:
Ryzen 5 1600
ASRock ab350 pro4 am4 motherboard
G.Skill 3000 Mhz Trident Z RGB Memory
Thermaltake toughpower 550W Gold psu
MSI GeForce GTX 1060 OC V1 6GB Video Card
Kingston 120G HyperX Fury SSD SATA 3 7mm
Seagate Barracuda 2TB HDD

I will try to change the ram voltage and play around with that, though with the cpu I can't even adjust the voltage so I don't know what to do there.

I haven't, I will check that when I get home. But I may have found a solution anyways, when I got the motherboard I didn't update the BIOS (I'm new to pc, okay) to the latest version. I thought it was included in the drivers I had downloaded but it seems I was wrong as I found the BIOS update on their update. I'll get back to you.
