My components are:

Graphics card: MSI GAMING Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB 128Bit GDDR5
CPU: Intel Kaby Lake Core i7 7700K 4.2GHz 8MB Cache LGA1151
Motherboard: Asus ROG STRIX B250H GAMING Intel B250 2400MHz DDR4
Ram:Kingston HyperX Fury Black 16GB 2400MHz DDR4 Ram

Yesterday I was talking with my friends and they have told me that my motherboard could decrease my gaming performance up to 30%. I was told that it was pointless to buy an i7 7700k with that board since my board wouldn't support it. I wonder if this is true or are they just saying pointless stuff. (sorry for bad English)

A B250 motherboard performs identically to a Z270 board at stock clock speeds...

Given your choice of a 7700K, most try (rightly so) to spend the extra $30-$40 to jump up to the Z270 board...but if you are absolutely certain you are uninterested in overclocking, the 7700K performs just fine in a B250 board.

(MSI has a Z270-SLi Plus, and Asus has the Z270a Prime, each is about $140 or less...)

Don't let anyone tell you get a 7700 instead, however, as the 7700K still runs several hundred MHz faster than the 7700.
