Computer Freezes After Playing Games

My build:
Intel i7 7700k
NVidia GTX 980 ZOTAC AMP
ASUS Prime Z-270A mobo
850W EVGA G2L psu
1TB WD Black HDD
2TB IBM HDD
256GB PNY SSD
Corsair 780T (full tower)

The PC runs fine at idle. But after playing games for between 1-20 minutes, the system will freeze entirely. I've tried several different games to be sure the game isn't causing it. I've monitored my GPU with afterburner and it doesn't get hotter than 49°C at the hottest. Nothing is overclocked, I've unplugged both HDDs (didn't help), used the Windows Memory Diagnostic (no errors detected), used CrystalDiskInfo (all drives good), I don't know what else it could be.
All components are nearly brand new! I've had them only for a few months or less, except the 2TB IBM drive which I got from a trustworthy friend. But again, the issue still occurs when that drive is removed.
The issue if definitely related to processing power, because it happened much quicker when playing Skyrim Special Edition vs. playing Game Dev Tycoon.

I reset the settings in the BIOS to default, it fixed the issue! Turns out one night I must've messed with overclock settings and completely forgot about it.
Thank you!
