Cpu voltage higher that what I am setting for adaptive

Whenever I try to set an adaptive voltage in my bios, the cpu gets a much higher voltage. In my bios I will set it to 1.2V, but when I am using my computer or gaming the voltage will always go to 1.3V. The voltage offset I use in the bios will effect the voltage, but the main cpu voltage I choose does not effect the actual cpu voltage.

When using Adaptive Mode, configure the following settings within the Internal CPU Power Management sub-section:

Set IA AC Load Line to 0.01
Set IA DC Load Line to 0.01

Setting these values keeps the Adaptive Mode voltage closer to the user-applied value when the processor is under full load.

Not an overclocking "expert" here myself, but the adaptive sounds closer to an "auto" than an "offset" mode. If that is the case, the motherboard will pretty much always give your CPU a bit more voltage than is necessary to keep it stable. You will probably have to do this all manually.
