I'm kind of at wits end with my PC and I don't know where else to turn, or what I should do. My problem is that when it comes to playing early access games on my PC. I know the title "early access" means that the game will come with bugs or have some small problems, but a lot of the time are totally unplayable to me. I'm leading to believe that there is something on my computers end that is causing my computer to not to connect to early access game servers. Because when it comes to AAA games I can connect no problem ie: Battlefield, Titanfall, Dark Souls, etc... I'm posting here in hopes someone sees this who had a similar problem and knows of the fix.
Here's as to the things I think it could be:
1. We use Direcpath as our ISP (not our choice, our apartment only offers that ISP) and there may be an issue with maybe the internet ports being blocked.
2. If something I downloaded (antivirus, adblocker, etc...) is creating issue's from connecting to a multiplayer game but only for early access games (I've tried disabling but still doesn't work).
Other than those 2 things, I have no idea what it could be. I keep windows up to date & all my drivers up to date as well. I have good fast internet and very reliable FPS and a good computer (See specs below). I'm about to just pay a computer/IT guy to come to my apt to try to work on this for me because I'm so frustrated... Please help. Thanks!
