URGENT! Bios wont start up

Built my pc today and when i start it up the bios wont start. The mobo says that "cpu failure or cpu not detected". I have msi bazooka b350m and ryzem 5 1400

Its possible that you have a DOA part or that you got one of the first release boards which dont have the correct bios on it to support the CPU you brought as support for that CPU was added later on, this would also tie in with the error you are getting "cpu failure or cpu not detected" (not supported or DOA part)

Well your answer is in there. That guide covers everything that could possibly prevent your computer from POSTing. So unless one of your components is faulty or incompatible then take a second look and go over your build with a fine tooth comb.

Yeah the motherboard appears to be getting power if it's giving him that message but something isn't quire right with the CPU. I would check to make sure you have the CPU power cable from your power supply plugged into the right spot. Then make sure you installed the CPU correctly.
