Basically I want to download another version of windows (higher) 'cause I can't run a game because of that, I'm wondering. Will my bits lower from 64 bit to 32 bit?

Solution
if you have a windows key with the 25 letters and number are for windows 7, you can't install windows 8 with that key

you need to check the version of windows the guy installed and if the key used was the one you have

to check the key installed use the produkey link previously mentioned

if it is correct, corresponds with the key you have, you are fine, don't need to do anything else than use and enjoy your pc

if the key doesn't correspond, then download the iso and install it, follow the second link on my previous reply

Whether or not your computer is running a 32bit or 64 bit operating system is up to whatever one you decide to install. If you are downloading Windows 10 64 bit then it will be 64 bit. Same case for the other way around.

No you cant switch between 64bit and 32bit. You would have to format the drive and install 32bit or do a dual boot system to run 32 and 64bit. but you would have to reboot the computer each time you want to switch between the different versions.

lower bits?

you need to choose the right version to install, if you install windows 7 32 bits, you must remember that windows will only see and use 3.5 gbs of ram, if you have more ram, it will not be used, at all

if you are on 64 bit windows, that is desirable, 32 bit windows is only desirable when you have a specific software that will not work on 64 bit windows

if you do need windws 7 32 bits, you need the dvd disc to install it, it can't be upgraded or downgraded, you do need to install a clean version and then activate it with the windows 7 license your pc has

I don't really want to play a "game", there are exploits in a game, that only work in higher versions of os than windows 7 and only in 64 bit :p.

64 bit windows is desirable this days, if you don0t have a reason to use 32 bit windows, say to it good bye

now, be sure the guy used the right windows 7 license, not activated with the wrong license

if your pc has a windows 7 license sticker with 25 letters and numbers

run this program

http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/product_cd_key_viewer.html

it will show you what license he used, if he used a different one, i would advise you to change it to the one you do have, often when someone installs windows, they use the wrong version, so you would need to use this link

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows7

to get the right installation disc and do a new install with the right license

It has 25 letters in it. :) What can I do with it?

The issue with bits is that refers to the memory and pathway capacity of your processor.

If you could pop the top and look, your processor would have physical wires in many parts for each bit. If you need to push 64x, you can't do that on a 32x.

A good analogy is a highway. You can't have 8 lanes of traffic going on 4 lanes of road.
