So Ive got a sub woofer that takes a VGA in and power, but the cable it comes with has 2 speakers on it which I dont need. So would I be able to cut those off even though the volume control is on one of the speakers so I might need to short it? Or can someone just show me where to buy a 3.5mm out to VGA in so I can just wire it inline with my current speakers.

There is no VGA conecter on those speakers
The ornage conecter is to connect the sub to the other speakers in the set
It isn't a standard VGA conecter and is probably unlikely to work with the other speakers connected
