I have been trying to buy an off the shelf desktop that will run my two Samsung 1920 x 1080p Full HD Screens as one monitor for video and music programming. I used an acer with a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 745 and got a splitter but only managed to get the screen imaged cloned to both screens. I chatted with the support and was told it would not support this function - 'surround '! There were other issues with this pc so it has gone back anyway but I now don't want to buy a desktop and have the same problem.
Q1/ is this function surround?
Q2/ do I need a graphics card with 2 HDMI ports?
Q3/ Any suggestions on desktop system ready to go?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am ' trying' to do more of the creative things I enjoy and am not verging very far !
