Hello Everyone,

I have 3 small drives (hand-me-downs) in my PC, all of which have Windows 8.1 and 10; and while they all can boot into their own version of Win just fine, they can only do so when they are all together. When separated, all but 1 fail to boot.

What is this and is there any way to fix it? Any information you can provide would be a true blessing.

That's because boot manager is missing from each of those two drives that are failing to boot.

You need to add boot manager on each of those two drives if you want to be able to boot independently of any of the other drives connected...
