Hello! I have an option to upgrade to an asus dual 1070 (non oc version) coming from an rx480..

Its (1070) selling for 1600 dirhams / 350ish usd here in Dubai. My 480 would sell at around 200usd.

Is it worth the bump up? 1080p gaming only...

Rip didnt see the last part. if ur selling the 480 and using that money yeah go fr the 1070 but i would say jst wait cuz ur 480 is still okay to play with and vega is jst around the corner so ull some good gpus from amd. So wait for now.

Yep, gaming at 1080p only. not really high on competitive shooter games, just casual PUBG. Mostly the games I play would be RPG's Nier Automata, the Surge, Project Cars on a 60Hz monitor.

im running an ryzen 5 1500x, 3.8ghz OC on water. 16gb 2666mhz ram on 2 sticks, 550watt psu (80 bronze)

monitor is 1080p, 60hz.. 1070 a bit overkill? 1060 would just be a side grade...
