How can i update my bios without a cpu?

im a bit new to pc building and got a new motherboard and processor, however when i tried to install it and i got everything plugged in, the computer turned on but none of my peripherals were working, i looked on pcpartpicker.com and it told me i may have to update the bios for my cpu

im trying to upgrade to an ASUS B150M-C D3 motherboard and a Intel Core I5-7400 cpu

Unfortunately, you need a CPU to do the bios update - a i3/5/7-6xxx CPU. Your choices are to return the mobo if you can and get a mobo that is compatible with your CPU or take your PC to a computer repair shop and see if they can do the bios update.
