Hi everyone. I want to upgrade my PC at end of 2k17. For that I have chosen those components...

i7 7700k
ASUS ROG Z270F STRIX Motherboard
G.SKILL TRIDENT Z RGB SERIES 16GB DDR4 3000MHz (8x2)
ASUS GTX 1070 Graphic Card
ASUS Optical Drive (Currently Using)
240 GB kingston SSD (Currently Using)
2 TB WD HDD 7200 RPM (Currently Using)
6 Corsair HD120 RGB case fans with controller (Currently Using)
RGB Gaming Keyboard (Currently Using)
Logitech G402 Fury Mouse (Currently Using)

I have a few years old SEASONIC S12G-650W PSU 80+ GOLD which is running with my AMD FX 6300, ASUS GTX 970 STRIX card & some other peripherals I mentioned earlier without any problems.

Now my question is.... Can I use my old SEASONIC 650W 80+ Gold PSU into my new PC Build?
If not then how much power I need to run my new PC smoothly...?

Thanks in advance.

Get a Ryzen 1700, it'll be a much better fit, and now performs identically to the 7700k in gaming at resolutions above 1080p with optimizations and improvements, it just has extra threads, which means as higher thread counts are utilized, it will run even faster.
You also only need a B350 board to OC, and the stock cooler is solid.
You'll want 3200MHz RAM though, Ryzen scales fantastically with high frequency.
Any higher than 3200 is poor value though.
