What would be a recommended PSU for this computer?

Guys, I wanted to know what would be a recommended PSU for this machine, even because my computer is restarting everytime I play games, and it isn't overheating, my pc does not pass 70 ° C(158°F) in any game! Please help me !! Please write some models of good PSUs that you trust between 550watts or higher
Video Card: AMD R9 270x
Processor: Intel 1150 core 44600 3.2 GHz
Motherboard: Gigabyte Intel G1.Sniper B5 socket 1150
HD: SATA3 1TB
Memory RAM: 1x8gb
PSU: EVGA 500watts 80 plus
peak of the GPU: 75°C(167°F), peak of the processor: 72°C(161,6 °F)
the CPU is directly connected to the socket!!!

GPU temp seems fine actually, but the CPU temp should not be that high. Invest in a better CPU cooler. Cooler Master 212 EVO is a good, cheap air cooler. Just be sure you install it properly.

I suspect its just your CPU overheating.

tcase for that cpu is 72.72°C , tcase temp is ussually lower than core temps, but its still probably overheating and may be the cause your pc is restarting, what case do you have and how is your fan setup and airflow?

Those CPUs can go up to 100C.



It's in the specs.

How old it is is NOT in the specs, and EVGA has several different 500 watt PSUs. Some better than others.

Still don't know the age. However, The point I wanted to make was that the PSU is a definite suspect in the issues that the OP was having. Even more so if it is more than three years old.

My PSU is is almost 3 years old, I bought it in Oct 2014. Most of the times, I just start a game like CS:GO and it restarts at the loading screen, like, my computer is not even hot yet, so I really don't think is a overheating problem.
