Hi everyone, I have a Dell Studio XPS 435mt that currently still has the stock i7-920. I would like to upgrade this rig to sell to a friend who's looking to get a cheap upgrade from his AMD A10 based PC, and figured I'd start with the CPU. But without being able to overclock on a Dell motherboard that i7-920 isn't that much of an upgrade from his A10 from a gaming standpoint. So I looked to Gulftown and was considering the i7 970, a hex core at 3.2GHz. Just wanted to make sure that it'll work in the XPS. If not, my backup is the i7-975 extreme since it's the best quad core i7 on the LGA1366 socket.
