Hi, i recently buy a gtx 1070 windforce oc, i have 8gb DDR4 2133 and a I5 6500 with a monitor 60hz ( not have fast sync or gsync). I play single player games, what options do i have to activate in the games and in the nvidia control panel? I play in 1440p, thanks.

Solution
good results

fast sync removes stutter not tearing, fast sync planks ahead and picks the best frames, so you you get no stutter.

the problem was with g sync if you felt below your targegt lets say 30 fps it would be unplayable, above your target same story.

hope this explains it a little bit.

edit: that depends on the psu

I mean fastsync , not freeseync hehe ... BTW , this results are a little low , will my CPU bottleneck my GTX 1070 ?

As per Nvidia's page, goto the NVIDIA Control Panel "Simply navigate to the Manage 3D settings section and enable Fast Sync through the Vertial sync drop down. "

i guess try that first. As for benchmarks, I use 3dmark for testing, not Unigine. So I can't tell you if that score is too low or not. I can tell you that your CPU does become more important as the resolution drops. In the case of a 1070 at 1080p resolution, the CPU will be the limiting factor.

I have a seasonic 520... So i activate the fast sync in Nvidia Panel and all go better, but i have a question. Is better too that desactivate the vsync for the game, right?

And how i can oc? Lol, i am so noob... I have to up the clock and mem speed of the vga with afterburner? And then do a heaven benchmark for example and see if the temps are good?

One Last question... In quantum break for example i have 50/60 fps, so in many cases my fps is lower than mi monitor Hz.. In this case fast sync is good too? Or adaptative sync is better?

yes, I play some games below 60 fps.

you need to turn off vsync in game and turn on fast sync in game profile.

tip: cap your fps at 46 fps using nvidia inspector software.

better 46fps, than a oscilling 46~60fps.

because the frame pacing, 46 fps is better than 30fps and 50fps.

Yes. If the game run at 55/65 you can turn vsync only. Fast Sync isn't necessary. Turn on fast Sync only if the game run 45-50 fps and cap at 46fps.
