Hi!
Soon I will probably buy a new gaming montior and I will also connect it to a Digital TV convertor box for watching TV (if someone can tell me if it's possible to do that it would be great) and the monitor does not include built in speakers, so I have to buy external speakers for tv and the PC.
So, can I connect RCA cables from speakers to covertor box and than use it for the tv? (the same question about 3.5mm)
is it possible to connect speakers to both the TV and the PC?
and any reccomenations for speakers for low price? about 50$, and I prefer if possible that they will look minimal and good (I like the looks of audio engine A2+/A5 or kanto speakers.)

Solution
A Digital Tuner with HDMI and analog audio outputs will work fine with any monitor with an unused HDMI input that is HDCP compliant. Pretty common.
If you want to use the speakers for both the tv box and PC then an input selector is the best option.

Sometimes a Y splitter works but not always,
