I just built my first PC, and I am having some trouble booting it up. When I start it up, the fans spin, and the VGA led lights up (10sec), then the boot led lights up for a split second, and nothing else. The computer stays on, fans still spinning, and nothing else happens. I have TRIPLE checked all of my cables, looked at the CPU and replacing VGA cable, and a lot more.

Specs:

Intel Pentium CPU

GTX 1050

Kingston 120GB SSD

EVGA 430W Power supply

HyperX Fury 8GB Ram

MSI B250 PRO-VD Motherboard

Thanks!

(I tried turning it off and on again)

My VGA cable is already in the motherboard, and my PCI does not support VGA or HDMI, only DCI. I have a friend that has more monitors and cables, so mabye I could see if I need use a
cable converter

Your cpu has an imbedded gpu on the die. Plug the monitor into the motherboard vga port on the back. If the monitor lights up we will know that there is most likely a problem with your video card.

It could however be a bad memory stick. Or a not enough power, or a bad power supply. If you can borrow either of these 2 things that would help.

First things first though. You might also want to reseat the gpu, if the monitor does come on using the motherboard port.
