I use an Asus X550ZA, 8GB Ram, AMD A10-7400P Radeon R6, 2.5Ghz. I haven't had issues playing fairly new games except for Mafia III and The Division all ran poorly. Are there any reasonable upgrades I can get to help?

Solution
First, you cannot upgrade your APU/CPU, the A10-7400P is soldered to the motherboard (BGA socket). There is no socket for a discrete GPU, graphics run off the iGPU on the APU. Since you are tying up system RAM for the graphics you might see some improvement by upgrading to 2x8GB, here is a set guaranteed to work

You might just want to see how much RAM you are using while gaming to determine if it is worthwhile upping the RAM.
