Hi guys, I'm planning on building my pc
My Build-
Ryzen 5 1400
Kingston HyperX Fury DDR4 2400MHz 8Gb
Gtx 1060 Zotac Amp Edition either 3 or 6gb
Antec VP550P 550 watts Psu
Deepcool dukase V2 Case
3 TB WD HDD

But when it comes to motherboard i m confused between Asus Prime B350M-A and Msi B350M Mortar

I m concerned about the Bios updates and which manufacture is more prompt about updates and also i read that Asus mobo has 6 phase detection which is supposed to be good for overclocking? As i will be over clocking my ryzen5

i m new to this so please let me know and sorry if i asked anything stupid, trying to learn though.

Solution
The Asus prime is quite basic. The msi equivalent would be the pro series mobo. Mortar is a step above but not much. I would recommend the asrock pro4, msi tomahawk, gigabyte gaming 3.all these models are good ones.
Regarding cpu, I would suggest u to step up to a 1500x. A 1600 is the best but don't go for 1400. It got a weak stock cooler so very less over clocking potential.
Try for 300mhz rams. At the very least 2800 so u can bump it to 2933 in bios. Ryzen likes fast rams.
If u r from India, other parts looks solid. If not, try for the new corsair cx 550 2017 psu. Or even the seasonic s12 520 will do.
