Hi guys, i have a problem here re my specs:

asrock z77 extreme 4
xilence 750 w psu
i5 2500 k
2x hd 7950 gpu
2x hdd (1x kingston hx 60 gb, 1x wd caviar green 2tb)
2x 4gb hyperx predator ram

so pc keeps freezing when gpus are in crossfire but when i pull one out its working fine...ive tryed all drivers newer and older same thing, on new crimson drivers even one gpu is freezing... idk what to do guys does somebody have any suggestions? btw i have win 7 64 bit os... maybye psu is weak for the crossfire sine xilence isnt some quality psu and hd 7950 drains a lot of power especially in crossfirex?

The reality is you don't know how he actually treated this equipment and if it was properly used. Getting used PC equipment is always a gamble especially because people can tend to improperly care for their devices with drivers, cooling solutions, etc. I would say the best idea would be to purchase a new quality MOBO (inexpensive MOBOs can still be good, but be aware of brand), like Gigabyte, ASUS, and MSI boards I personally have had fine luck with. AsRock I actually have never had issues with either. A quality PSU can change everything. Seasonic and Evga PSU's work great.

Have you tried EACH gpu running on its own or did you pull out the same one? Verify this. Your psu might have the wattage but it sounds like a cheaper model which are known to have inconsistency with providing adequate power for high performance. When does the PC freeze specifically?

Try reinstall LOL. Honestly, before hardware even, I would reformat and try that just to make sure it is not a driver issue. If it still happens, then it has to be hardware. What was your temperature of your gpu when this happens? Run LOL in windowed mode and put speccy on the side and watch temps
