Hi guys, when I mean that my new PC is not working, I mean that I can't get any display at all. Luckily, based on some researches, I discovered it was because the initial bios on my board doesn't support the cpu I had, wich I refunded.

This said, even if my bios won't post at all, I can barely touch my ram as I'd surely get slight burnings on my hand. I'm wondering if it's normal, if my ram died for some reason and maybe if it can ruin the rest of my build. Basically, I'm wondering if I should buy new RAM sticks or not. Thanks in advance and here's the new rig:

Board: MSI B350 PC mate AM4

CPUs: Ryzen 5 1600x (refunded), Ryzen 7 1700 (Not tested yet, will update later)

RAM: https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820156104

GPU: Saphire NItro+ RX 470 8GB

PSU: https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA9H53FK8162

Solution
It doesn't matter if RAM is in or out as computer should be switched off and disconnected from power when resetting CMOS/BIOS. It should also be reset every time a major change like processor, RAM etc. is made. That gives BIOS a chance to find new parts properly. It reads the FW in the parts changed and sets defaults for them.

I did remove the battery and used a screwdriver as a jumper when I had the Ryzen 5 chip, didn't try with the Ryzen 7 though. Should I do it while the ram is in or not?
