can someone help me?..
i am upgrading my old motherboard from a AMD FN2 to a Gigabyte LGA1151, and i want to upgrade my GTX 750 Ti to a EVGA GTX 1050 Ti but i am not sure if the graphics card memory type has to match the Motherboard and Processor Memory type?
Also i am looking to get the Intel i3 - 6100 Processor
Please someone help me...

Solution

No it doesnt have to match, it doesnt make any difference, that motherboard will require you to buy DDR4 ram, the graphics card will come with GDDR5 and wont cause any problems.

the ram on the gpu is only used and seen by the gpu, it doesn't matter if it is gddr3 or gddr5, only matters to the games running in it and how good fps you get

for example, your old machine uses ddr3 for the cpu, and ddr5 on the 750 ti and it works well

the new one will be ddr4 for cpu and ddr5 for the 1050ti and will work well too

It will work. The new cards have ddr5 but their no memory for a motherboard that is ddr5.
It would work even if your board was using DDR3.
