What do i meed to upgrade my gpu?

Hey guys i was wondering i have a i7 7700 with a asus h270plus mother board im curently runing a gtx 1060.what i need to know is what do i need to upgrade to a gtx 1070 or 1080 and van my motherboard handle a gpu upgrade?

1. buy the 1070 or 1080
2. remove 1060 from case
3. install 1070 or 1080 card
4. Find out that the new card doesn't fit in your existing case
5. buy new bigger case
6. rebuild pc bits into new case
7. Start up pc
8. sit back and feel satisfied

U already got ur answer in a round about way in the post above.
One more thing to consider is that u should have a good 550w psu along with a compatible case. Mention ur psu along with the other parts the next time u list ur pc specs.
