I just installed my motherboard, I installed all the drivers from the disk, but he wifi won't work. Windows tells me to turn on wireless capability but I don't know how on desktop. I have tried uninstalling drivers and such but nothing has worked. Any help is appreciated!

Thanks

Solution
Wireless comes onboard for SOME motherboards but many do not have the ability without an addon card or USB device.

Plug in your ethernet cable to have internet on a desktop.
OR install a wireless card or USB
ASRock Z170 Extreme 4 doesn't have built-in WiFi.

You need to add WiFi capability by installing a WiFi card or plugging in a USB WiFi adapter.

However, it's customary to use wired LAN for networking on a desktop PC which isn't going to be carried around from room to room, as it's faster & more reliable than WiFi.

Use WiFi for portable devices only (wherever possible).

. I have a wireless adapter connected already, it worked this morning with my old mobo but as I installed this one it does not.

Did you install the drivers for it?
Some versions of windows may install drivers while others may not. (Depending on hardware support and other factors)
