I'm building a budget build. Was wondering will an older gtx 670 , £60 quid on ebay , be better for me or an £70 rx 460. All the benchmarks i've seen the 670 performs 50-60% better in all situations. Sometimes providing a 40-60 fps increase in certain games.
I will be pairing this with the g4560 and a b250 chipset motherboard. 8 GB DDR4.
I understand the card is old , however my main concern is , will it be compatible with games in 6-8 months? Or will direct x whatever see the card become obsolete.
Also am planning on over clocking the ram and perhaps the gpu. I have a 500w power supply 80+ bronze. Will that limit my oc?
MOST IMPORTANTLY ---- Will buying a USED old card decrease the performance it once had? And how much of a life would you say it has? 1 year..?
