Trident Z Ram Does Not Sync With Asus Aura Properly

So I have the latest version of asus aura installed, all my motherboard drivers and bios are up to date as well. When I first sync my Trident Z ram to my strix motherboard it works good for like 8 seconds. Then my ram piece on the left starts to go a little faster and quickly de-syncs from the ram on the right and motherboard. Maybe a 40 seconds later, either the ram on the right or the motherboard starts to de-sync as well, soon turning my LED's into an ugly random rgb mess. I have no idea what to do.

Solution
Hey guys, I have a Asus Prime Z370-A with G.Skill Trident RGB RAM. I was having all sorts of issues with getting the RAM to light up with the rest of my case and I finally found the solution.

1) Make sure your BIOS is the latest version
2) You need to find a RAM setting in your BIOS called "DRAM SPD WRITE" (In my BIOS it was under AI Tweaker --> DRAM Timing Control --> DRAM SPD WRITE
3) Set it to "enabled"
Save and exit, boot into windows and run your Aura software and bobs your uncle!

So basically, when I remove aura from the entire equation, I have the Trident Z ram. It starts to do it's whole "rgb rainbow thing" on it's own and I can see the ram on the left start to go faster than the one on the right and quickly de-sync the pattern. I guess what I have now is either defective and cannot properly sync with one another, or I'm doing something wrong.

However what makes this so strange and frustrating is I can use the aura music feature and everything sync's up perfectly with no issue.
