So I built my (first) computer a day ago, and I put a CD/DVD driver into it... but it doesn't even work. I can tell it has power because whenever I press the eject button on it, or actually go into my "Devices and Drivers" on my computer and press eject, there's a flashing green light that slows down to nothing in 10 seconds.

I've tried putting a paperclip in, opening it manually, and then pressing eject trying to close it, and still nothing happens. I've tried booting up my PC and spamming eject... nothing. I've unplugged the SATA cable and Power cable from the driver and plugged it back in a couple times now. Unless I have to plug the SATA cable into a different port on the Motherboard... nothing is working.

I really don't know what else to do. I really don't want to have to buy another disk drive. Anyone have any suggestions?

It's Asus by the way, and according to Device Manager, it's working properly. http://imgur.com/a/CPuFS
