So I've decided to upgrade my rig (CPU/RAM/MOBO); because I'm trying to stay on budget I'm going for:

  • -i5-7400
    -Corsair Vengeance lpx ddr4 2400 8gb
But for the MOBO I'm having trouble to decide, researching I've found these:
- Gigabyte GA-Gaming B8
- MSI B250M MORTAR

Any tips? recomendations? mobos to consider?

I have a CM 690 II Advanced, so idk if a micro-ATX would be a waste of space.

I do not and probably won't OC in the future, I just need something reliable, if it can provide good sound way better.

I saw a B250 on sale at Amazon yesterday fro $69 or so....

Search for whatever one is best priced among the 'name brands'....(Asus/Asrock, MSI, Gigabyte)

Most features in all suit 99% of the general population, as few folks 'need' 4 RAM slots and 6 SATA ports and 2 M.2 slots, etc....

True, you dont want any limitations in the future.
