SO i just built a new computer: i7 7700K, asus 270F mainboard and aio water cooler corsair H100i v2..

We had problems with installing the aio water cooler because it should have thermal paste on it but it hadnt.
we fixed this with putting on another thermal paste.
after all we started up the pc and the pc tempreture was at 40 degrees and steadily rose. after 5 min we were at 85 degrees and we stopped the pc because we thought something could get damaged.
What are the reasons for such a high cpu temp in bios

thanks for helping me

Solution
Ok, first of all check whether the aio pump is working or not. The cable for the pump goes into the AIO_pump header on motherboard(most new asus motherboard has a separate header for aio pump, it should be located above the graphics card slot and below the heatsink). Connect the fans to the cpu_fan and cpu_opt fan header. Check whether the pump is properly fitted onto the processor, dont exert additional pressure just see if its properly seated on the processor. Use thermal paste like cooler master mastergel maker nano or mx4. Dont apply too much thermal paste, just add a sufficient amount and you are good to go. If the AIO is working properly and still the problem persist, then you have to look at other things.
install corsair link on pc change pump by clicking on it from quiet to performance and you should be fine adjust the fan curve to something that you are happy with or if you want add some more fans the noctua fans are good but expensive can do push pull that lowers temps a lot.
