CPU @ 100% as of lately?

Hey guys after playing some BF4 and BF1 lately ive noticed my CPU usage has jumped to 100%. I have not made any physical changes to my PC and my i5 3570k oc @ 4.2ghz is now struggling with these games. I have a GTX 970, frames on both games seem fine just GPU usage has gone down and CPU has skyrocketed to 100%. Can the latest nvidea drives have caused this? All games used to run fine with 30-60% cpu usage and now they are all 70-100%. Any help!?

Even newer Core i5's get maxed out on BF1. Don't see why you're just now noticing it.

I can see bf1 doing that but BF4 is using about 80% when before it never passed 50%

You shouldn't be worried, when i play bf1 , its always at 80-90% and even more. So its ok... I would be worried if your cpu was at 30% while playing bf1. Although as you have not mentioned your cpu model, i want to point if you are using ryzen 7 , then your cpu usage would be around 60-75%.

Hey guys after starting to play PUBG I noticed that the cpu (i5 3570k @ 4.2ghz) usage is way to high reaching 99%, 70-80% avg and GPU (GTX 970 4gb) would average 60% as low as 40% rarely hitting 90% averaging 60fps on my 144hz monitor.

Is the cpu bottlenecking my GPU? Or do I just have to upgrade my whole system to an i7 etc?

When playing battlefield 4 CPU uses 30-40% and GPU uses 90-99% averaging 120fps on low setts which is where I like it. Which leads me to believe that my system it's good to go even for PUBG.

I've tried all methods to fix the PUBG issues from 3D settings to launch options and none seems to fix the issue.

So after trying many things and a new nvidea driver nothing has changed except now i noticed that BF4 is using higher CPU and lower GPU but I'm getting 20-50 more FPS with same settings as before...

So what is going on!? Is it the fact that PUBG is not optimized yet or did I mess up the settings sometime along the way?? Or is this a sign that I just need to upgrade the whole rig (not really trying to because don't want to spend money)????
Any input would be great, thank you all!
