Primary: Ryzen 5 1600 GTX 1070 - https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/7NL2cc
Secondary: i5 7600k GTX 1070 - https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/RfK4f8
Tertiary: i7 7700k GTX 1060 6GB - https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/mWMcnn

Which is the best build for gaming and are there any improvements that could be made to help with value for money.

The wireless adapter is needed (pretty sure all MOBO's don't have built in WiFi) as my home is all WiFi and no wired as my parents refuse to wire the house even though it's cheap and easy to do.

as a newbie i would go i7 7700k with 1070 if i can if not i would get a 120 ssd instead 500 and slower ram speed as i know ram speed doesnt affect much if its compatible with your system tho and i realised you didnt put a cooler in the build if you gonna overclock those

Why not both 7700k + 1070?

* Forgot to add Wi-fi, maybe a bit extended of your budget but its worth in my opinion,
From your builds i prefer the 1600+1700 too
