Recently my external hard drive stopped working. I connected the drive with the stock adapter and usb cable it comes with to my windows 10 computer and it clicks 3 times and starts spinning. The computer however does not recognize the drive, it does not show up on the in the device manager or disk management. I recently bought a docking station to connect my drive on there but it still did not work it just does the same 3 clicks and spins. I tried connecting it to another usb port and nothing. I tried connecting it to another windows computer and nothing. I tried connecting it to a mac laptop and it is still not recognized. Are there any suggestions out there that might help me? Thanks.

Especially the clicks are not a sign of the drive still being in great condition...
