I have an ASUS B85MG motherboard and I am looking to pick up a 1070 but I am afraid that it will block out all other pcie slots and I need at least one for my wifi card, is there any way to solve this(maybe with a pcie extender)? I really don't want to buy a new motherboard if not needed

You put the GPU in the PCI-Ex16 expansion slot. The extender you want is for your PCI-Ex1 slot. If you case has extra expansion slots beyond the edge of the motherboard, you would install the extender in the last PCI-Ex1 slot and connect the card to an available expansion slot on your case.

But my current GPU is a gtx960 gigabyte windforce 4gb and there is hardly any place under it for the wifi card to fit in and
that is around 32 mm and the gtx 1070 im looking at is the g1 gaming and it says that its 41mm

The router is far from my room, and there is no cable connected to the room so I have to use wifi and already have that card which I want to use as it wasn't cheap

If the card conforms to dual-slot width, then there will be space for you to install a WiFi card. Yes, it will be up close to the graphics card and may block airflow, but there should still be room. Your only other options would be to install an extender (not sure how that affects performance or if you have the space), or install a USB WiFi device.

If I install an extender where could I put the GPU ( the extenders seemd like cables so I don't know where to put it so that it doesnt interfere with anything)
