Hi folks, looking to put together a system for gaming (1080p) & casual web browsing

1st Build:

CPU - i5-7500
Mobo - Gigabyte GA-Z270P-D3
RAM - Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB DDR4-2666
PSU - EVGA 500 W1 / Corsair CX600
GPU - NVIDIA GTX 1060 6GB / RX 470
Case - Corsair Carbide 200R

2nd Build:

CPU - Ryzen R5 1600
Mobo - Gigabyte GA-AB350-Gaming 3
RAM - G. Skill Ripjaws V Series 2x 4GB DDR4-3200
PSU - EVGA 500 W1 / Corsair CX600
GPU - NVIDIA GTX 1060 6GB / RX 470
Case - Corsair Carbide 200R

Already owned components

Monitor - BenQ GW2255HM
SSD - Samsung EVO 256GB
HDD - WD 1TB

have confusion whether to go for Ryzen or intel build

previously owned build which is running good except for gaming whenever i launch any games system restarts automatically this happens for all latest games like (BF1, Mirror's Edge, DS3, Batman AK, Dragon Quest) the sad part is that it restarts even for warcraft3 :( :(

i know the problem is with the psu

CPU - AMD FX 6300
MOBO - GA-78LMT-USB3
RAM - Corsair Vengeance 2 x 8 GB 1600 Mhz
PSU - Corsair VS450
GPU - ASUS NVIDIA GTX 960 2GB Strix Edition
Case - Circle B201 (normal case)

i am thinking to go for full upgrade instead of just changing the power supply, please need your suggestion guys

Solution
I'd probably do the Ryzen and the GTX 1060.
Ryzen CPU's are better all around chips and the one you've chosen is better than the Intel CPU you've chosen.
The GTX 1060 is a faster card.
