I'll start my course in portugal in "engenharia informática" probably equivalent to computer science in most places. I decided that it was time to invest in a laptop for both programming and gaming. After all my research I ended up thinking in a few specs that I would like to have, and I wanted a opinion. Here is my list: intel core i7 - 7xxx; nvidia gtx 1050ti 4gb or better? 1060...70... (i'm more than ok with a 50ti); An ssd and hdd for obvious reasons; 17+inch display; 16gb Ram (or more, never less).
This is mostly what I've had in my mind while searching, what do you think? I am being too greedy? This laptop is meant to last more than 5 years... My budget is like 1500$ / 1300€
