I am horrible with PC specs. I have been able to run some intensive games like GTA 5, Overwatch on high settings 60FPS yet somehow I cannot seem to run Mafia III. Whats my problem? Specs: AMD A8-7650K Ram: 8.00GB Single-Channel DDR3 Mobo: ASRock FM2A58M-HD+ R2.0 GPU: AMD Radeon R7

Ok let's see, I might be lacking info here, but do you have a 2 GB video card? If thats the case it could be one of the reasons.

Second, Mafia III is horrible optmized, just check the reviews, I had a I5 4690k and GTX 970 in the past and still couldn't achieve 60 fps stable most of the time on maxed out settings.

Third, GTA V and Overwatch are very well optmized games, even low spec computers can run at decent settings at high framerates.

Fourth - Try disabling Anti Aliasing setting in Mafia III, I don't know in which settings are you playing the game at but this seems to be the most fps killer.

In that case, 1 GB is not really enough to run Mafia III unfortunately so there's not much we can do about it, maybe a mid Video Card upgrade would boost your performance if you are on budget, otherwise I would just skip it or try to play Mafia III somewhere else a console maybe? Simply and painfull truth, game is horrible in technical aspects, good computers still suffers to play at high framerates. You could try lowering resolution, disabling Vsync, but not sure thats gonna help you that much.

Hope that helps.

Check this list, I'm sure you will find your answer.

As for my personal experience, if you are eager to spare a little bit more I would go with a GTX 1070 or 1080, but if you just gud with casual gaming with Mid to High settings I would suggest these ones -

GTX 1050 TI or GTX 1060

Don't really have that much experience with AMD cards but as the site above suggests a RX 460 would sufice.
