Where i live, there arent alot of gpu that i can get for a cheap but still i found these 2 options from the second hand market.
First being a 3 year old GTX 650 Ti 1GB DDR5.
And the other being a 1.5 year old Radeon R7 250 1GB DDR5.

Both for nearly the same price.
The GTX is alot better than the Radeon but is older, so should i still buy it?
I'll still check both the GPUs before buying as im going to meet the seller in person.
Im getting both of em for around 60$
My CPU is i3 3210 3.2Ghz and 6 Gigs of DDR3 RAM.

Thanks

some reviews are fake, some reviews only offer those results after overclocking gpu, cpu and ram

gta v with the 650ti is viable, but only on medium setting,s that is low, gta v doesn't have a low value so medium is low, it is ok except for textures, textures on medium, low, looks very ugly, i know that because i had the r7 250 but the 2 gbs version and i played alot with settings to see how much i could get

no one is telling you here thy are trash, we are telling you that there are better options than a 5 year old gpu with 1 gb of vram no one should b using 1 gb this days, 2gbs is too little, i know that very well

yours is 3 year old used but the gtx 650 ti is 5 year old technology and will not support dx12 iirc, the r7 does support...

the 650 is better but is a 1 gb only gpu

also is not as strong as a gtx750ti which also has 2 gbs of vram

the r7 i had one, is only viable for 720p at medium settings and is good but not the greatest, the 650 is better but 750ti is alot better, perhaps alot better than both together

60 for a gtx 650ti, well i can get it new for that price, r7 didn't cost me new that price

sounds like a bad offer, i wouldn't pay used for those two 50, for both, each one at 60, very bad offer

Well sadly, not alot of people are selling GPUs here so i think that isnt really that bad of a deal considering how rare good GPUs are here :p

But still do you think the GTX could have got any problems by age that i couldnt detect when ill check it?

Thats what * me up. On YouTube there are benchmarks of games like GTA V, Watch Dogs 1, Crysis 3 etc with the same rig as me and they play it on Med-High settings on 720p or even 900p smoothly and People here tell me they're trash?
I dont understand who to believe :/

if your only options are those two, perhaps the strongest one would be gtx 650 ti, but 1 gb for gta v is a really bad gpu

if i was you i would try to get a gtx 750 ti 2 gbs or the new gt 1030 that is basically a gtx 750, but comes with 2 gbs of vram, a must this days

the reviews doesn't tell you how much it stutters, how bad the frametime can get and how ugly does look those games at 720p on low and how often the textures will fail to load or look weird while loading thanks to slow gpu and low amount of ram

it only tells you the average fps they got over a benchmark or playing 5 minutes a certain part of the game

gta v can be slow on city and have problems if the cpu is not fast enough, so that also matters, yours is a 2 cores only i3, the threads on gta might help but not much

try to find a better gpu with more vram, if you really can't find a better offer, do your best to find the gtx 650 ti but the 2 gbs odel, is hardder to find but it exist and is worth to get, other than that find the way to get the gt1030, it costs almost the same as those expensive gpus you mention

don't buy the r7 250, is slower than the 650
