So i am going to buy a msi gt 1030 aero soon and i have currently a kabini athlon quad core 5350 apu and i am using the integrated graphics but i want to have 30 fps low - medium at all games
my monitor is 1366 x 768 so i was wondering if my cpu bottlenecks my gpu how much will it be?

Solution
I not sure which version. I did a quick GPU comparison between GTX760 and GT 1030 and it seemed to show that the GT 1030 was around 25-30% of the GTX 760.

To be honest the GTX 760 is going to provide you with >30 FPS at >low detail given your resolution. So if this GT 1030 card is better than a GTX 760 then you shouldn't have any problems.

A double check shows that the GT 1030 is a modern 10xx card from nVidia, and indeed I fully expect that such a card will provide FPS at your settings. The question might flip around to your card waiting on your CPU more often.

Like I originally said, one is always going to be waiting on the other. The question isn't the general bottleneck it is if the combination provides an enjoyable experience...

This isn't a static answer question. You two components depending each other. One of the them is always going to be waiting [bottlenecked] by the other. You also have the varying load of a gameplay and that means the load is not constant. It's going to fluctuate not only between games, but withing the same game depending on what it actually happening at the time.

Unfortunately I don't have even a general answer for you. I can say that your resolution is low which will help. Your GPU is pretty under-powered though. It's about 30% of a GTX760. Your CPU isn't as much under-powered.

So I think your CPU is going to be waiting on your GPU more than they other way around.

Can you get 30 fps on low settings. It all depends on the particular game. I bet it's possible on quite a lot of games at that resolution. It will also be not possible on others. It also depends how low you're prepared to accept.

so far ive been playing with the integrated graphics which ive given 2 gb so far they have gotten me through most games especially those that i play at the lowest settings at 20 - 30 fps ive played 2.4k hours in warframe at 11 - 20 fps so i must say i am pretty accepting and considering that this gpu is way more powerful than my current graphical power
i believe that i should be able to reach a 30 fps at medium at most games as ive seen however i didnt expect that my cpu would still be stronger than my gpu which is fine by me and thank you for telling me that

are you sure however that you checked this version of the gpu? https://www.msi.com/Graphics-card/GeForce-GT-1030-AERO-ITX-2G-OC.html#hero-overview because i checked the stats and i saw that its slightly more powerful that the gtx 760 however i dont know much about hardware and stuff
