Hi, thanks for clicking on my thread!
So I just overclocked my cpu for the first time, from 3.2GHz to 3.7GHz at 1.3v.

After running the aida64 stress test for 20 minutes, I received these results: http://prntscr.com/fy59q6
(the average was 63°C)

I was wondering if any experts here know what to make of that. Can I overclock higher and is it safe to? Are those results bad or should I stay how I am?

Specs that i believe are relevant:
cpu: Ryzen 5 1400 3.7GHz 1.3v
gpu: Galax exoc sc gtx 970
cooler: Cryorig m9a
Mb: msi b350 tomahawk
3 case fans, corsair spec 03
PSU: xfx ts 430w

Thanks for reading, hope you can help! :D

I think 63 degrees sounds like an excellent temperature, you could try and run it again at 3.8GHZ at same voltage and see if it likes it, and what your temps looks like.

If it were to go well, should i heighten the voltage to get to 4ghz or 3.9?

Well how much are you realistically getting out of another 100 mhz ? Is it worth upping the core voltage for it? Most Ryzens are stuck right around the 3.9 to 4.0 mark with good cooling, so you need ask how much voltage you want in your system.

I've not played with a Ryzen yet... But my philosophy has always been to figure out what your chip can do, then back off a bit to something that makes you comfortable... As long as you cooling is good, you really don't have to worry to much about melting it these days...
