Thanks to a BIOS update from MSI I finally got my Corsair Vengence 3000Mhz RAM to 2800Mhz. I've been running at 2133Mhz since Ryzen came out and couldn't get it to run any faster reguardless of timings or voltage inputs. It was interesting to me that the BIOS update contained the XMP profile that allowed me to run at this speed. I thought XMP profiles came with the RAM and not the MOBO BIOS. Now all I need to do is upgrade my cooler and I'll OC my 1700x to 3.9 or 4.0Ghz and I'll be good to go.
